Die ersten 4 Bands sind raus:

Antimatter: vor 1 Jahr beim NotP waren sie mal sehr gut

Klone: freue mich sehr auf die Franzosen. Rezi von mir bei den BBS zu lesen

Kayak: war leider zu befürchten da sie ja auch schon bei der NotP sind

RPWL: noch nie live gesehen, bestimmt interessant

Und was sagt die Gemeinde so?

Ui! Für meinen Teil ist die Gemeinde recht angetan.
Klone noch vor wenigen Tagen gesehen. Da wird auch mal Metall erklingen. Antimatter kann sehr ergreifend werden. Und rpwl wird bestimmt auch gut, wie sehr kann ich auch nicht einschätzen .
Und ja. Der running gag: Irgendein niederländischer Altmeister darf immer ran. Gut, wenn es so sein muss. Ein Sechstel dieser Art als Anteil vom Ganzen (kommen ja wohl noch zwei) , das krieg ich hin.
Schon jetzt: Besuchsempfehlung meinerseits!

Jo, Antimatter gehört ja mit zu meinen Lieblingsbands, Klone (Rezi natürlich gelesen!) aber auch die 17 von Kayak ist ok für mich; aber RPWL gehts mir eher andersrum, zu oft gesehen...
Hmm, wenn das nur nicht soo weit wäre...vielleicht lasse ich das NoTP ausfallen (zu Moon Safari fahre ich auf keinen Fall!)

Aktuelle Alben von Klone & RPWL sprechen deutlich FÜR einen Midsummer-Besuch. Antimatter selbstredend. Mindestens also 3:1 Gründe FÜR :)

Casey McPherson? Also mir RPWL, Mystery und ihm ist es jetzt aber sehr mainstreamig........sei's drum, das Bier ist toll auf dem "kleinen" Felsen

Dear visitors of Midsummer Prog Festival! We have bad news to share with you. Due to the Coronavirus situation, we have been forced to postpone the 4th edition of Midsummer Prog Festival to June 26th, 2021.

Although the Dutch government currently forbids all events up until the 1st of June, we fear that this ban will be extended. The situation for the rest of the summer is looking highly unstable. Bands and fans have been asking us what to do, especially regarding travel plans. At least 60% of our fans travel from abroad and we have no idea how different countries will react to the virus threat in the near future.

As music lovers, we organise Midsummer Prog because we love music and we love creating something beautiful together with you. We feel truly sorry that the 2020 edition cannot happen. But of course, health always comes first.

We spoke with all the bands about trying to get 2020's lineup also in 2021. It seems very likely that we can keep the same lineup but we will know this for sure in a couple of months and we will keep you posted. Of course, we will hold the festival in the same beautiful setting - The OpenluchtTheater Valkenburg, The Netherlands!

Tickets purchased will stay valid for the 2021 event, so please hang on to them, but if you want a refund; our ticketing service (Eventix) will send you a separate email with a refund button.

We've made costs (apart from the many hours of work) and although these costs won't kill us, we do really appreciate if you would like to support us a little. We made a donation button on www.midsummerprog.com for this.
