Heavy Horses ist für mich auch ein Herbstlied. Mir kommen bei der Musik Bilder von Reiter in den Sinn, die durch einen bunten Wald reiten.

Iron-clad feather-feet pounding the dust
An October's day, towards evening
Sweat-embossed veins standing proud to the plough
Salt on a deep chest seasoning
Last of the line at an honest day's toil
Turning the deep sod under
Flint at the fetlock, chasing the bone
Flies at the nostrils plunder
The Suffolk, the Clydesdale, the Percheron vie
With the Shire on his feathers floating
Hauling soft timber into the dusk
To bed on a warm straw coating
Heavy horses, move the land under me
Behind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding free
And now you're down to the few and there's no work to do
The tractor is on its way
Let me find you a filly for your proud stallion seed
To keep the old line going
And we'll stand you abreast at the back of the wood
Behind the young…

eels - waking up
Waking Up
I don't want nobody
I don't need that shit
Nothing good every came
From any time I did
So what the **** is going on here
Tender hearted love
I was always dreaming falsely
I must be waking up
Lovers come and lovers go
Ironically so called
Love wasn't in the room
Two grifters that was all
Morning sun a sweet surprise
Is finally looking up
The dream is over done and dusted
Now I'm waking up
I don't have any voice
You don't have any choice
Its best we get out of the way
Nothing new but everything…

Israel Nash hat 2014 mit "Israel Nash's Rain Plans" ein unglaublich schönes Album herausgebracht. Für mich ist das ein Herbstalbum.
