Ja, das Kunstwerk ist wunderschön! Erinnert mich an die Underground-Comix der 60/70er - speziell Rick Griffin.

Danke schön, ja klar, Rick Griffin gehört zu meinen Lieblingsdesignern. Ich mag diesen knallbunten Psychedelic-Stil immer schon und versuche auch öfters mal, solche Sachen als Covers zu designen für meine Sampler. Hier noch die restlichen "Sleeves" zu diesem Sampler der KW24 plus die entsprechenden CDs.

Ich designe schon sehr lange CDs, eigentlich schon seit ich einen PC und einen Drucker habe. Mein "Mammut-Werk" war mal eine Box mit 20 CDs: "The History Of Harvest Records", inklusive 28-seitigem Booklet. Das war irgendwann in den 00er Jahren, und an der Box arbeitete auch unser @Waldmeister mit. Die Box war auf soviele Exemplare limitiert, wie Leute an der Zusammenstellung mitgearbeitet hatten. Die Box steht noch heute in meinem Regal, in @Waldmeister's Regal wohl auch.

Ich habe immer schon grossen Spass daran, eigene Sampler zu machen. Das ist so ein Spleen von mir.

Hier mein Wochenüberblick der KW25

8 neue CDs sind diese Woche eingetroffen, nur eine hat's bislang in die Top 25 geschafft. Die aber hat mich in den vergangenen Tagen sowas von vereinnahmt, und zwar von A bis Z, dass alles andere als ein Einstieg von 0 auf 1 der Platte nicht gerecht würde. Amy Helm ist die Tochter des verstorbenen Schlagzeugers Levon Helm (The Band) und ihre schöne Stimme klingt für mich ein bisschen wie ein Mix aus Carly Simon und Carole King. "What The Flood Leaves Behind" ist eben erschienen als LP und CD.

Ab sofort schenke ich Euch jede Woche meinen "Song der Woche" vom jeweiligen Charts-Spitzenreiter.
